Snow Sports
Sunglasses for Skiing, Snowboarding and other snow sports are made for environments with high levels of light. On ski slopes, light is reflected from the snow and therefore twice the normal amount of UV rays enter your eyes.
This range of snow sport Sunglasses are all 100% UV protective and filter out up to 90% of natural light, making the eyes more comfortable, avoiding eye strain and increasing your safety by improving your vision.
Our selective guide to snow sport sunglasses:
- For Glacier Walking or gentle Skiing, sunglasses should filter out up to 90% of natural light; side covers are normally integrated in this type of sunglasses to help keep UV rays and wind from entering from around the sunglass frames
- For Skiing and Snowboarding, sunglasses should be extremely durable for wipe-outs, have optional wind deflectors on the frames and ideally have a headband attachment so they don't fall off!
- For Minimum Glare, ski sunglasses with polarised lenses are highly suitable for skiing but will also look great when you are off the piste
